VIDEO: Ukrainian soldier proposes to his girlfriend at checkpoint amid war, then got married to her immediately after she said yes
A video of a Ukrainian soldier proposing to his girlfriend after stopping her at checkpoint amid war with Russia went viral.
In the video, the troops can be seen questioning a group of people, who have placed their hands on a car’s roof.
The soldier gets down on one knee and surprises her with a ring as she turns around.

His girlfriend was super excited and she accepted his proposal.
In another video shared by Kyiv Mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, an army personnel could be seen officiating Lesya and Valeria’s marriage after which they were showered with flower petals among cheers by people around.
