Uganda’s youngest ever Presidential candidate Katumba manhandled by police and military men (video)

Uganda’s youngest ever presidential candidate, John Katumba has once again received an unfair treatment by the Police in his country.

The 24-year-old Independent candidate was recently spotted in a viral video getting manhandled by the police and military officers.

Reports has it that he came to address some of his supporters in a particular district, before the men in uniform blocked him and pushed him away from the area. He tried running away from them, but they chased after him like someone who committed a crime.

Watch the video below:

This is not the first time Katumba was blocked from addressing his supporters. A similar incidence allegedly happened last month at Iganga town, when the police led by Kenneth Muheirwe, intercepted his vehicle and blocked him from conducting his rally.

At 24, Katumba is the youngest presidential candidate in Uganda’s history. He benefitted from their recent removal of age limit of 35 – 75, for presidential candidates.
