Pele sends a message to Messi after equaling his all-time football record

Leo could surpass Brazilian legend Pelé as the player with most goals for a single club.
Messi got his name on the score sheet in Barcelona’s 2-2 draw against Valencia on Saturday evening. Though the result was somewhat disappointing for Barca, but for Lionel Messi, it was such a huge milestone.
That goal equaled Pele’s long-standing record of 643 goals for a single club (Santos FC) during his illustrious career.
After such a remarkable feat, the Brazilian legend was quick to acknowledge the 33-year-old, he wrote:
“Like you, I know what it’s like to love wearing the same shirt everyday. Like you, I know that there is nothing better than the place we feel at home. Congratulations on your historic record, Lionel. But above all, congratulations on your beautiful career at Barcelona.”
