Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has finally scored his first Serie A goal for SSC Napoli in their 4-1 win over Atalanta.
The 21-year-old striker was in red-hot for Naples during their warm-up games, scoring back-to-back hat-tricks against L’Aquila and Teramo.
Fans however got worried after he featured in two Serie A games without finding the back of the net. That is not to say his impact wasn’t felt in those games, especially their 2-0 victory over Parma which he was awarded the man of the match.

Lozano scored a brace in the 23rd and 27th minute, with Politano scoring in the 30th minute. Osimhen got his breakthrough goal in the 43rd minute following a long cross from goalkeeper David Ospina.
Having gone 4-0 down in the first half, Atalanta finally scored their consolation goal in 69th to end their fine start to the season.
Napoli now sits at third position with 8 points after losing 3 vital points for missing their game with Juventus.
