Reno Omokri, the former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has given reasons why Nigerians need to elect a northeastern as president.
According to Reno, the region has not produced a Nigerian president 57 years after the reign of Sir Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa.
Reno stated this in his 97th series on why he believes Atiku is the best choice for Nigeria.

In addition, Reno Omokri stated in his #96th series that “Nigeria needs the sober-minded leader” and he said Atiku is the only candidate that meets that criterion.
He further asked how Arewa can justify voting for a known drug lord given the current realities, stating that Northerners should realize that drug abuse is the region’s biggest problem and not insecurity because insecurity can destroy the economy but drugs will destroy the youths and without the youths, there is no future.
With this, he encouraged Nigerians to vote for Atiku and the People’s Democratic Party come February 25, 2023.
