It’s quite amazing how power can make people to easily forget the finger that once fed them. Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot was very thankful to the social media prior to his appointment as a legislator.
In a video which is currently trending on the internet, the 46-year-old actor could be seen attributing his victory to the social media.
When asked by a journalist how he was able to balance his civic responsibility with the social media, Hon. Desmond simply said: “The social media was very instrumental to my victory, so I have to let them know every step…”
Who could ever believe that the same mouth with which the Veteran actor used in glorifying the social media is the same mouth that pushed for a bill against the use of social media.
Though he initially denied the accusations saying it is false but after watching his own video in the House of Assembly, he couldn’t deny any further.
His recent comments has upset several celebrities including his Nollywood colleagues.
