River State ex governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has declared his intention to contest for the office of the president in the upcoming 2023 general election.
Rotimi Amaechi who’s currently the Nigerian Minister of Transportation, made his intentions known to the public via his verified Facebook page. He wrote:
“I stand before you today to declare my intention and submit my application to serve as your next President.#RiversAPC#”

Before making his declaration, a viral video surfaced on social media where the ex government is seen ruining round the stadium to show that he is physically fit for the position. Watch below:

Meanwhile, Mr Amaechi will now join former Lagos and Imo State governors Bola Tinubu and Rochas Okorocha, as well as other aspirants in the presidential race under the platform of the APC (All Progressive Congress).
