Jonathan Set To Return To Aso Rock After Joining APC

Former Nigerian president has reportedly joined the rulling party All Progressive Congress (APC) in a bid to recontest for President in 2023.

Sahara Reports has it that the former president president has formally joined the APC after registering at his Otuoke Ward in Bayelsa.

Recall, that Jonathan rejected the APC nomination form hours after the Fulani group picked up the form for him.

Jonathan rejected the nomination form on the ground that it was an insult for the group to have bought him the form without his permission.

Well, all that was a strategy he used in procuring the APC form.

According to the reports sighted by Newsblenda, the Former President decided to vie for the top office again and He is expected to submit the duly filled forms on Thursday.

“Several bigwigs of the party have also been calling Jonathan to pledge their loyalty and support to the former president,’’ the Sahara Reports said.
