Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe, an Official of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has revealed that a parent fainted two years ago after coming for her daughter’s graduation ceremony only to realize she was still in 2nd year.
According to Dr. Daniel, the young lady succeeded in forging result slips for her parents and took school fees despite repeating because of poor academic performance. Her parents wore their best clothes and came to her graduation only to be told that she is now in 200L.

“There was a parent who came here about last two years coming to attend the child’s graduation only to realize the child was still in second year. That parent collapsed in the office of the Dean of Students,” he said.
The Dean had to call the ambulance to resuscitate that woman. “When you sit down for four years and you don’t know what your child is doing these are the kinds of shock you’ll receive,” Dr. Daniel said.
