Italian Serie A club Napoli have announced that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has recovered from coronavirus.
Osimhen 22, received a negative result from the last swab test, according to the statement from the club.
“Victor #Osimhen has recovered from #COVID19,” reads a tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle on Friday.
The Nigerian forward tested positive for COVID-19 upon his return from the Christmas holiday.

He has been away from action since November 2020 when he injured his shoulder while on international duty.
The former Lille star is expected to be back in action against Verona on Sunday.
