Omokri maintained his stand on supporting Atiku and wished that Peter Obi remained in their party (PDP).

He said that Peter Obi would have been the Vice President nominee if he had stayed back in PDP.

Reacting to the question of Peter Obi being a bigot, Omokri defended the presidential candidate, making reference to Peter’s wife who is not an Igbo, and how Peter resonates with some Northern Muslims.

Still, Omokri held on to the fact that his only issue with Peter Obi is that he prefers Atiku, and if it were to be like a job form, Atiku would be his first and second choice while Peter Obi would be his third choice.
