Boko Haram allegedly releases over 300 students abducted in Kankara Kastina State

The news was disclosed in a recent tweet by Nigerian human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, popularly called Yele Sowore

He wrote:
Kidnapped #KankaraStudents in Katsina now released by their abductors after successful negotiations. We don’t know how much was paid yet. Glad they’ve been released

Newsblenda reported that the students were abducted by armed bandits alleged to be terrorist group Boko Haram at about 10:45 pm on Friday December 12, 2020.
More than 300 students were missing after the attack on Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, according to the statement by the Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari.
