Recorder: Ichie Ngene, we greet you, as you can see, they are covering the earth, we are doing what we all agreed collectively. We even gave him six months of grace to see if he will repent but he refused, saying whatever that will happen tomorrow, let it happen today is that not what he said? To this the whole villagers respond with a yes answer.
Ichie Ngene:
Please I have asked this question before, Ngene nke izizi who ruled for 19, am responsible for his death? The villagers responded, no. He continued. If I’m the one that killed him, let it be well with Olisa for his actions. But if I don’t have anything to do with his death, and Olisa out of jealousy took the tile of Ichie Ngene when am still alive, I’m saying Olisa, today, one man can never be bigger than his people, we need to be cautious so that this will not claim people’s lives, this is what we agreed years ago, since 2018. This law was made irrespective of any individual.
