In the tightly contested and controversial ‘Next Rated Award’ of the year in the just concluded Headies Awards, Buju was nominated alongside Ayra Starr, Zinoleesky, Lojay and Ruger.
BNXN Buju won the award and went home with the 2022 Bentley Bentayga.
However, in his appreciation speech, he dedicated the award to Ruger. In his words, he said, “This is for Ruger. I love this boy”.
