Nigerian radio host and presenter Ifedayo Olarinde popularly called Daddy Freeze has made suggestions of racism in the Church with his recent photo.
The 44-year-old controversial celebrity recenly took to his Instagram page to release a photo of one of Roman Catholic artworks (that of St. Michael pinning down the so-called ‘fallen angel’).
He further caused a stir with a thought provoking question: “Is this not a racist statue?,” he asked.

What do you think? Has the image got some elements of racism depicted on it? Well, it’s really not business.
Meanwhile, Freeze has always been vocal about his stance on racism. In his opinion, racism doesn’t necessarily mean white oppression against blacks, but something that has to do with culture and religion.
Last month, he took to social media to question the motives of Nigerians engaging in the #BlackLivesMatter protest staged in the U.S., when they still discriminate amongst themselves.
His comments suggests that it doesn’t make sense for Nigerians to engage in a protest abroad, when there are greater forms on racism within the country.
