As Nigerians, there are some foods that are common to us, and we can’t live without them.

These foods are already part of us and we either take them as breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Below are 5 foods common to Nigerians:

1. Rice


Rice is a good that Nigerians can’t live without. It is quite low in calories and also a good source of energy. Rice can be cooked in so many different ways and can be eaten at any time of the day.

2. Noodles


Noodles is another food common to Nigerians. These days, not only children enjoy this dish, even adults eat it too. Noodles is very cheap, easy and fast to cook and it can be served with either egg, sardine or any other type of protein.

3. Garri
