A minute before the Nigerian poster girl left the pitch, she received a volleyed cross in the 18-yard box. But her failed acrobatic turned into an assist for Kheira Hamraoui who placed the ball beyond the reach of the keeper, to set up a semi-finals clash against Wolfsburg.

Wolfsburg continued the German brutality against Galsgow City of Scotland with a 9-1 humiliation of the club in another quarter-final game on Friday.
