Kalu is now the second Nigerian footballer to have tested positive for Covid-19, after Genk forward Paul Onuachu was confirmed two weeks ago.
However, it took the former FC Midtjylland forward less than one week to recover from the virus according to Newsblenda.com.
We hope Samuel Kalu will also recover as fast as his South Eastern brother.
Meanwhile, the skillful winger joined the Nigerian national football team back in 2018. Since then, he has made 13 appearances, scoring twice.
He was also a member of the squad that won bronze in Egypt last year.
