Nigerian Rapper Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman, has blasted former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba over his comment on Twitter ban in the country.
Ruggedman and some of his colleagues including comedian Seyilaw, was engaged in an Instagram Live interview with Adamu concerning the ban of Twitter in Nigeria.
The Singer voiced out his frustration that a great country like Nigeria is more concerned with issues on social media instead of focusing on the economic and security problems affecting the lives of its citizens.
He pointed out that several other countries are advancing both in technology and infrastructure while Nigeria remained stagnant.
The rapper questioned why Mr. Garba was quick to promote his social media handle immediately after the ban of Twitter in Nigeria and his response was that he is a “businessman”.
Ruggedman fearlessly told him: “You’re a businessman doesn’t make you heartless.”
