WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has taken a dig at Anthony Joshua ahead of a potential duel with the British-Nigerian star.
Mark Wright recently speculated that there could be a potential deal which would see Wilder paid a large sum to sacrifice his contractual right to face Fury again next and allow him to unify with Joshua.
However, Tyson has told Mark he has no intention of paying Wilder a step-aside money but would rather prefer a battle instead.
While declaring his intention to do a fight rematch with Deontay Wilder, Fury also disclosed his plans of engaging Anthony Joshua in a potential fight. On an Instagram live chat with Mark Wright, Tyson expressed confidence in beating and battering AJ twice. He said:
“We’ve got the rematch with Wilder on at some point and then we’ve got the two AJ fights.
“Obviously when I batter him he’ll want a rematch.
“Wilder’s got a rematch clause. Some newspaper reported that he wanted $10million to step aside, but I’m not paying him no money to step aside, I’d rather take his scalp again.
“I’ll beat him in the ring. I wouldn’t pay him $2million to step aside, I’d rather give him another battering.
“I’m gonna take him out again for the third time, hopefully at the end of the year, and then we’re gonna go into 2021 for the biggest fight in boxing history.
“Two British heavyweights, me and AJ, and we’re gonna battle it out for all the gold.”
