Nollywood actor Emeka Amakeze has made a highly controversial statement that civil servants across the country will likely not smile at.

According to the 45-year-old actor who is a strong advocate of good leadership, politicians may appear to be the most corrupt group because of their ‘flamboyant’ lifestyle, but civil servants are actually the ones taking the lead in that aspect.

“Politicians may take the shine because of their flamboyant lifestyles but nobody beats Civil Servants in the race for title of the MOST CORRUPT,” he wrote on Twitter.

His statement may not be out of place especially considering what happens in the sector. The issue of ghost workers, nepotism, dishonesty and the rest of them, are still prevalent in the civil service sector.

Meanwhile, Emeka Amakeze is one of the richest and most influential actors in Nigeria film industry with over $400,000 estimated net worth.
