Boma Martins Akpore, was the very first housemate that was unveiled during the official launching of the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye edition on Saturday July 24.
That’s quite a coincidence, as the 34-year-old Mixologist and Masseuse happens to be the first and only child of his parents. But who really is Boma Akpore?
Boma is a United States based Nigerian Model, Mixologist and Masseuse (MMM). He was born in Yaba Lagos as an only child of his parents.
Prior to his appearance at Africa’s biggest reality TV show Big Brother Naija, Boma Akpore has already reached his full potentials except for one failed football dream.
He started out his professional career as a model, but he was extremely passionate about playing football that he worked his way into the Semi-Pro Europe soccer.
When the time for him to sign a professional football career arrived, an unfortunate injury became the setback that ended his football career. There’s a popular saying that “when one door closes, another one opens.” That was the case of Boma whose injury ended his pro football career but opened up another avenue for him to venture fully into modelling.

He once represented Nigeria for Mr. imperial Universe 2016, and won Best Body Imperial Universe in 2016. Aside from modelling , Boma also developed his career as an actor by enrolling in the New York Film Academy.
