Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze has engaged in a battle of words with Reno Omokri and Nollywood actress Uche Elendu, with regards to child discipline.
It all began with Freeze tagging Reno Omokri in a post shared on Instagram by a user named Agu, who claim that his mother stopped spanking him at 37, when he got married.
“Till tomorrow, my mother a retired headmistress spanked me till I got married at 37. She stopped on the day I paid my wife bride price. At least, her cane has produced reasonable Nigerian,” Agu wrote.
The radio talk show host gave a harsh response by calling both mother and son, psychopaths.
“If your mother was still spanking you at 37, she is a psychopath and she raised a psychopath,” Freeze replied.
man went further to elevate the conversation by telling Freeze about the marks he gave his little children, in the name of ‘spanking’.

He wrote’
“My three 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son have marks on their bodies resulting from my spanks. Whether the correction worked, it did”.
Daddy Freeze, in a lengthy post said he didn’t overreact by saying that the man and his mother were mad. He also dragged his fellow wiseman, Reno Omokri into conversation.
He wrote:
“Many people including my dear brother @renoomokri assumed that the spanking was scolding. No, it’s NOT! He was clearly talking of a physical not verbal reproach!”
Omokri was clearly in disagreement with that viewpoint as Daddy Freeze earlier noted, but he wasn’t the only one.
Nollywood actress Uche Elendu also think that Freeze is not getting it right. She reminded him of the famous Bible principle that advised parents not to “spare the rod and spoil the child”.
