Over the last 12 days, Nigerians have been protesting against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a unit of the Nigerian federal police force, after a video emerged of officers allegedly killing a man in Ugheli Delta State.

Soon the hashtag #EndSars, as the unit is known, began trending internationally. Nigerian IG announced that SARS will be disbanded, but that promise has not been enough to quell the anger. Nigerians continue to protest.
