VIDEO: EU Plans Massive Action Against Russia Following Military Attack In Ukraine
The European Union (EU) has announced plans for “massive” sanctions against Russia following invasion of Ukraine.
The European Commission president Ursula Gertrud von der Leyen made the pledge during a press conference on Thursday morning.
She said;
Russian forces invaded Ukraine, a free and sovereign country.
And once again in the center of Europe, Innocent men, women and children are dying.
We condemn this barbaric attack, and the cynical arguments used to justify it.
We stand with the Ukrainian people.
Ukraine’s Interior Ministry confirms “missiles have just struck at the center of the Military Administration, airfields, military depots, in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro.” Also, artillery shelling at border areas.

In a video sighted by Newsblenda as of Thursday morning, Long queues and chaos has ensued in civilian airports across Ukraine as people attempt to flee as a result of Russian invasion. (WATCH)
President Vladimir Putin of Russia ordered a full military assault on Ukraine and as at press time Russian troops have been seen crossing into Ukraine from it’s three borders with Belarus , Russia and Crimea.

Citizens and foreign nationals are currently at the airports trying to flee, with flights grounded as Ukraine fears it’s planes might be target by Russian missiles.
As at press time, Russia says it has bombed and disabled all Ukrainian military airports and air defences.
