Elon Musk made an announcement on the provision of Satellite Communication following the request of the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov on Twitter.
Ukraine’s telecommunications infrastructure has been a target since Russia launched a war with Ukraine. Since the start of the war, the Russian president has been bent on restricting Ukrainians to commute with the rest of the world.
Elon Musk’s decision to provide his space internet to Ukraine came after the deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine urged him to deploy facilities and save his people from being silenced by Putin.
On Elon Musk’s Twitter handle, he announced that “Starlink Services is now active in Ukraine.”
