American singer Rihanna was full of ecstasy after watching her favourite basketball team Lakers become NBA champions.
The Los Angeles outfit beat Miami Heat to clinch their first NBA title since one decade in the game that ended 106-93 yesterday.
Basketball legend LeBron James won his fourth ring with a third different team in the Game 6 of the NBA Finals. LeBron was also voted the Most Valuable Player of the final. The 35-year-old player scored a triple-double which included 28 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

Rihanna took to social media to remember Kobe Bryant and to praise LeBron James for helping Lakers win the title. She wrote on Instagram: “if you ain’t on this time right now…bye. Lebron remains king Lakers are the champs and Kobe is proud A.D thank you! #Congratulations”

Lakers also dedicated their victory to late Kobe Bryant who led them to their last title in 2010.
