Portuguese professional football manager and former player Jose Mourinho has expressed regrets over his inability to coach Lionel Messi whom he identified as the best player of our generation.
Mourinho who is currently the head coach of Turkish Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe, made this known in an interview with TNT Sports. A TNT analyst asked the Special One: “Who is the player that you never signed in your career but you wish you did?”

Mourinho’s response was Messi. “Of course I would say the little guy. He was not coachable but I have to say that in our generation, he was the best,” he said.
