Former Nigerian striker, Akeem Omolade, has passed away in Italy.
On Monday, emergency services found him lifeless in a Peugeot in Sicily’s capital, Palermo.
The Kaduna State-born striker has been in Italy since he was 17 and joined Treviso with whom he made a first professional debut in serie B, later on, he joined Torino with whom he made his series A.

Akeem Omolade became famous in 2001 when he wore the Treviso shirt. He made several Serie A appearances for the Turnclub between 2001-2003.
He played for Treviso, Reggiana, and 10 other Italian clubs before retirement in 2017.
