Messi Breaks Another Pele Record
PSG forward Lionel Messi has reached another milestone in his football career, scoring double to move pass Pele in terms of overall career goals as he took his tally to 758 in total for Barcelona, PSG and Argentina.
The 7th time Ballon d’Or winner and Mbappe each scored twice to help the French giant Paris Saint-Germain beat Club Brugge 4-1 on Tuesday night champions league.
The French giants were already confirmed as runners-up behind Manchester City in group A but romped to a comfortable win at the Parc des Princes.
Mbappe and Messi both scored a brace with Mats Rits providing a consolation for the Belgian visitors, who were behind as early as the second minute.

Although Messi has surpassed Pele in terms of overall career goals (758) but he still trails his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo by 43 goals, after he reached 801 career goals with a brace against Arsenal last week.
However, Messi isn’t far behind and actually has a fractionally better goal-per-game ratio than Ronaldo.
The Manchester United benefits from having played two more seasons than his Argentine nemesis thus far, so there is a good chance that Messi could overtake the Portuguese if he continues to sparkle in the competition.
