Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo is showing no sign of slowing down in his quest to make an impact at Old Trafford.
The 30-year-striker is seriously making a case for a starting spot after scoring a brace in an inter-squad friendly.
Manchester United had had a great 11-a-side friendly game on Old Trafford training ground over the weekend.

Manager Solskjaer set up the training match comprising of two United XIs – a team in home kits, led by Paul Pogba, and a team in away kits, led by Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
The game ended all square with an eight-goal thriller (four goals apiece). Three United players (Marcus Rashford, Odion Ighalo and Luke Shaw) scored a brace in the game.
Shaw, who seems to be the Man of the Match revealed how the contest panned out.
He said:
“There have been a lot of different things circulating on social media and I’m happy to set the record straight.
“It did end 4-4 and I did score twice! Also on my team, Bruno got one and Jamo [Daniel James] got one, while, on the other team, Rashy got two and so did Odion.
Speaking further about his two goals Shaw said:
“To be fair, my first goal was decent. It was from a great cross by Bruno and my volley went straight in. I was happy with it.
“My other one was just getting forward, Juan played it to me on the edge of the box, I took a touch and shot in.
“It was quite an open game, as you can probably gather, with a lot of space, since it was the first game back.
“Everyone looked good and the most important thing was getting minutes in the tank. This was definitely a step forward from the games we’ve been having at the training ground.”
Manchester United fans would wish for the team to transfer the momentum to their first game away to Tottenham Hotspur next week Friday.
