Video: Ahmed Musa apologize to Nigerians for Sierra Leone game

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has apologised to his countrymen after a disappointing outing against Sierra Leone during the CAF Nations Cup qualifying game in Benin City.

The Nigerian team did the unimaginable by bottling a 4-goal advantage to draw a less fancied Sierra Leone side on home soil. Numerous mistakes from Super Eagles players led to the goals that earned the visiting team their bragging rights in Benin.

Captain Ahmed Musa understands that the team made costly mistakes in the game, hence he promised that they would correct them in the next game. Musa gave the assurance in a video posted on Super Eagles Twitter page.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles with travel to Sierra Leone to play their fourth game of the group L on Tuesday November 17, 2020. A victory for them will surely guarantee their place in the AFCON tournament with two games to spare.
