The world received with shock the news of the death of Black Panther’s star Chadwick Boseman early this morning.
Boseman was confirmed dead aged 43, in his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side, according to a statement by publicist Nicki Fioravante.
“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman,” said a statement posted on his Instagram page. “It was the honor of his life to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”

He died as a result of colon cancer which he has battled for four years as confirmed by his representatives.
Despite all his years of suffering, Boseman never spoke publicly about his diagnosis, according the statement, he worked through his treatment.
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” the statement read.
“From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more — all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.
Actor Chadwick Boseman may have featured in some movies, but he would be best remembered for his role as the Marvel superhero in the movie “Black Panther.”
