The reason allegedly behind the inability of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari to visit the Kastina School where over 300 students were abducted by gunmen has finally been unveiled.

According to recent report by Sahara Reporters, the President’s level of dementia and incoherence made him forget to visit the school despite being briefed since Friday.

“The moment it happened on Friday night, President Buhari was told. But due to dementia, he had forgotten,” a top presidency source told Sahara Reporters.

This goes contrary to the statement of his Spokesman, Garba Shehu, who claimed that the President Buhari was not aware of the abduction of the schoolboys from Kankara town in Katsina State on Friday evening.

The source further revealed that President’s dementia was the reason why his handlers prevent him from visiting the National Assembly last week after he had promised to do so. The same reason why he visited his livestock farm on Saturday morning instead of visiting the grieving school.

Dementia is a general term for loss of memory, language and thinking abilities most likely caused by old age.
