Yul Edochie Joins 2023 Presidential Race
Nollywood Actor Yul Edochie has announced his intentions to run as the country’s president come 2023.
The Actor turned politician joined the list of presidential candidates hoping to take over Aso Rock in 2023.
Yul took to his Instagram page on Monday, July 5, 2021, where he declared his intention. According to the actor, Nigeria will be better if youths are given opportunities.

He wrote:
It looks tough but it is possible.
If we as youths come together as one, if we throw tribalism away, if we stop hating each other, if we stop trying to bring each other down, if we stop looking for the slightest opportunity to insult each other, if we believe in the course and support it with all our strength, if we ignore frivolities and focus on making our country work, if we realise the strength we have, It is possible if we speak with one voice.
All we are saying is GIVE THE YOUTHS A CHANCE.

Yul who is a son of legendary actor, Pete Edochie had in Novermber 18th 2017 contested for Anambra governorship election under the platform of the Democratic People’s Congress, but could only muster 145 votes during the gubernatorial election.
In 2019 he also declared interest to run as Nigerian President but he later pulled out even before the primaries.
