Kingsley Moghalu, a presidential aspirant from African Democratic Party (ADC) has resigned from being a member of the party after losing ADC’s party flag bearer to Dumebi Kachikwu.
Moghalu was a former presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) 2019.
He wrote a letter to the National Chairman of their party, Chief Okay Ralph Nwosu, claiming that the conduct of the election revealed a fundamental clash of values between himself and the leadership of the Party.

He also noted in his letter that he has consistently resisted pressures to join APC and PDP to avoid “cash-and-carry politics”, and for him to remain in ADC after the aftermath of the primary in Abeokuta would be an endorsement of political corruption of a most obscure order.
