PDP in disarray as members ask Okowa to step down (Video)

In a viral video on the internet, PDP members were spotted asking Okowa to step down. Chants like “Okowa must go” was heard in the video.

While some people think that Atiku’s emergence as PDP presidential candidate has brought division to the party, a verification by Daily Trust shows that the video first emerged on the internet on 6 November 2022 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. (See video).

When the first Town Hall meeting with presidential candidates took place.

Further inquiries showed that the chaos was triggered when Okowa was introduced as a representative of the Presidential candidate for the Town Hall meeting which didn’t sit well with the party supporters.

The video was made asking Okowa not to stand in for the absent presidential candidate rather the speculation of him resigning.
