VIDEO: Ghana Lawmakers Fight Dirty Over Mobile Money Tax
Ghanaian lawmakers have been filmed fighting dirty over government attempt to push unpopular mobile money tax through voting.
As seen in the viral videotape, soldiers had to intervene to restore normalcy after lawmakers exchanged blows.
The fight was between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) members.

It all started when the presiding Speaker, Joe Osei-Owusu stood up from his chair to cast his vote in favour of the e-levy.
The opposition lawmakers got angry on seeing the presiding Speaker trying to cast his vote in favour of the e- levy.
The opposition lawmakers attempted to stop the Speaker from casting his vote because according to the rules guiding the parliament, ‘Speakers’ should be neutral.
