The young progressive Nigerian youths and diehard supporters of Peter Obi the Labour Party presidential candidate has stormed the Instagram page of veteran Nollywood actor Zack, attack him for declaring his support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall, that Zack Orji in a video that went viral few days ago insisted that his support for Mr Tinubu is both experiential and personal.
The actor said that having lived in Lagos for over 40 years, he knows that Mr Tinubu is a chief crusader for the consolidation of democracy in Nigeria.
“I have always known him as a man who stands for equity, justice, fair play and national cohesion.
“In his time as governor of Lagos state, he ran an all-inclusive government drawing people from different ethnic extractions into the executive council as decision makers to run the affairs of the state.
“People who came from different ethnic extractions were allowed to be part of the decision-making of Lagos State. I know with a high degree of certainty that on a national scale when he becomes the president of Nigeria, he will do likewise.
“This is what we need in this country. Though we differ in tribe and tongue, charity and brotherhood, we stand tall and proud.
“I know that when he becomes the president of this country, he will turn the economy around for the better.”
Personally, as a concerned Nigerian who is tired of the wickedness of APC and PDP, I decided that I was going to tell Mr Zack Orji my mind. I sent him a DM, respectively, i explained how disappointed I was that a man of his personality can stoop so low as to endorse the candidacy of Tinubu and APC.
A party that brought nothing but pains, insecurity and untold hardship never seen before In the history of Nigeria.
Well after telling him the piece of my mind in a respective way, I decided to check his post on Instagram, then I discovered that Obedients are already on the comment sections venting their anger.
While some said Mr Orji does not have enough influence to drum support for a presidential candidate, others say that he may have been induced with money.
This is coming against the backdrop of reports that say that another Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, allegedly rejected N10m to campaign for Mr Tinubu.
