CNN projects that Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania propells him over the 270 electoral college vote threshold required to clinch the White House.

That resounding victory makes Joe Biden the 46th president of the United States. He will return to the White House, where he served for eight years as President Barack Obama’s deputy.
Biden has also created a new record as the oldest president in American history at 78 years. That record was previously held by the man he has now defeated, Donald Trump, who is 74.
Meanwhile, Trump campaign has already indicated their candidate does not plan to concede. Usually the losing candidate concedes but Donald Trump has vowed to contest the election results.
