27 years old Mohammed Mohmmed has been arrested in Jigawa for defrauding POS operatives with counterfeit money.
In a statement issued to Daily Post by the command Public Relations Officer, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam; the suspect has been on the police wanted list specialized in defrauding POS operatives in Jigawa State.
The ASP stated that one Abdullah Magaji had complained that’s the suspect came to his POS terminal shop at Limawa Quarters to give him ₦100,000 to transfer to his account which he later discovered to be fake.

ASP Adam further revealed that the police team on Surveillance patrol along Limawa Quarters intercepted the suspect in possession of ₦401,000 suspected to be counterfeit.
The case has been transferred to SCID Dutse for further investigation after the suspect confessed to his crime and promised to mention his accomplices.
