In a shocking incident that unfolded in Abule-Ori, a locality within the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, unknown assailants, armed with guns, forcefully entered a branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Saturday. Tragically, the pastor of the church lost his life during the attack, while seven innocent worshippers were abducted.

The gravity of the situation prompted a swift response from the Commander of the So-Safe Corps, the state government’s security outfit. Soji Ganzallo, in confirming the incident, revealed that his officers courageously engaged in a rescue operation. With commendable determination, they successfully liberated the seven abducted church members from the clutches of their captors. Unfortunately, during the operation, one of the kidnappers was killed.
