Following the massacre in Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State, Owo women have taken to the streets in the town to protest against the act.
The protest was led by Chief Mrs. Iwaloye, the Iyaloja of Owo who spearheaded the protest, calling for the arrest of the gunmen.
In the course of the protest, the women visited the seven traditional sites in the town where they performed rituals and placed curses on the attackers.

They also visited the Catholic church, St. Francis Catholic church where the event happened to commiserate with the priest.
The Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye pleaded with the women not to channel their anger to innocent people as measures have been taken to see to the arrest of the perpetrators.
He also urged them to keep their children away from criminal acts.
