Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma has once again publicly expressed her apologies to Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), as well as to the Nigerian public. In her apology, Ejikeme humbly appealed to the board for clemency and pleaded for the reversal of the three-year ban imposed on her by JAMB. She delivered this apology during a session before the House of Representatives ad hoc committee, which is currently investigating the alleged manipulation of UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) results by Ejikeme.
It should be noted that the House had initiated an investigation into the accusations of result manipulation by Mmesoma two weeks ago, leading to this current hearing. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, and other members of the board’s management were present during this investigative hearing.
During her appearance, Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma took the opportunity to express her remorse and extend her sincere apologies to Prof. Oloyede, JAMB, and the Nigerian populace. She earnestly requested that the board consider showing mercy and revoking the ban imposed on her. Her plea for forgiveness and a second chance was made in a formal letter of apology, which she read aloud before the House committee.
