Some men believed to be members of the Nigerian Army allegedly rendered innocent people homeless and took their source of livelihood by setting houses and shops at Awọ Mmamma in Imo State on fire, in a reprisal attack.
Several reports has it that unknown gunmen killed a military officer in Awo Mmamma, Oru East, Imo State, and the soldiers came back to retaliate by burning people’s houses and shops.
