Nigerian political activist Reno Omokri has questioned the integrity of popular Catholic Priest Father Ejike Mbaka over his dealings with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mbaka, a diehard supporter of Buhari during the 2015 and 2019 elections made a shocking statement on Wednesday when he asked the National Assembly to impeach the President over insecurity across the country.

Meanwhile, the presidential spokesman Garba Shehu alleged that Father Mbaka of Enugu Adoration Ministry, was angry with Buhari for refusing his contract offer.

This has since generated a lot of reactions from people on the internet, including Reno Omokri and Ayodele Fayose. Omokri wrote:

“So, according to the @NGRPresident, Reverend Father Mbaka went to see General @MBuhari with 3 contractors, and requested for contracts as compensation for supporting Buhari. The President recorded that meeting. My question to Mbaka: Is it true? Are you so cheap?”
