Christina Milian is an American singer and actress who was born on September 26, 1981. She was responsible for iconic albums and singles such as “Am to Pm” and “When you look at me”.

How did they meet?
Christina Milian and Pokora’s epic love story had an epic beginning, but the couple needed a little push before they could fall in love.
It all started with a restaurant in France and with a restaurant manager. The manager who they both knew suggested that Milian and Pokora should talk since they were both musicians. Milian said she wasn’t interested. However, after seeing Matt, she quickly changed her mind. It was like the stars aligned.
Their conversation led to switching numbers and it led to them finding out they had the same birthday. During this conversation, Pokora told her that he had a gut feeling about their relationship. Making his move, he boldly told her: “we’re going to have a child together.”
Milian admitted that she never had anybody say that to her. Charmed by him, she revealed that she already had a daughter named Violet with singer The-Dream. Pokora told her: “well, you don’t have a son.”
Four years later, Milian sweetly captioned an Instagram post about their birthdays: “I knew the second I saw you, there was something different. Only to find out that thing was the chemistry between a set of birthday twins. The stars have truly aligned.”
After several weeks of teasing the media, playing hide and seek with the paparazzi and posting cryptic photos on social media networks, the two lovebirds finally made their first official appearance at the 2017 NRJ music awards which are the equivalent to the Billboard music awards in France.

How long have they been together?
Milian and Pokora started dating in August of 2017 and they’ve been joined at the hip ever since.
Are they married?
Yes, but their marriage was a little unconventional.
The couple tied the knot in an idyllic private ceremony held in a town hall in Paris on December 9th. The mayor of Paris was reportedly the one who officiated the ceremony.
Meanwhile, their relationship kicked off when Pokora predicted that they would have a son, but it didn’t come untill later on.
After almost two years of dating, the couple announced that they were going to be parents once again. Like Pokora predicted, they had a son named Isaiah. He was born on January 20, 2020.
On 24th of April 2021, the couple announced the birth of their second son Kenna.
Their lifestyle
With Pokora having a successful career in France and with Christina working on her acting career, the two became star-crossed lovers with oceans between them. However, as Millian revealed on the Real Daytime show, she was never really worried about the distance between them. They got along so well with each other.
By 2018, Pokora made a move to the United States to be with his family, but with their careers taking them in different directions, the family doesn’t spend too much time in one place.
To accommodate her filming schedule for an upcoming project, the family started living in Mauritius. Wherever they go, the family is inseparable.
Some of their favourite activities include fishing, swimming, boat ride, sunbathing, laying by the pool, relaxing, visiting local attractions and trying local cuisines.
Issues
No matter how perfect Christina and Matt look, every relationship is bound to have some bumps in the road. In their case, there were two main problems that often came up: their age difference and the long distance. But a four years age difference has never affected them and the long distance was quickly resolved within a year, after Pokora moved from France to LA.
One of the rare few times that the couple faced backlash was in April 2020. Pokora came under fire for posting a racially insensitive comment about the hair of Milian’s daughter.
In an Instagram Story, he posted a video of Violet with the microbe emoji and pointed to her hair. It seemed like he was comparing her hair which was in bantu knots to a microbe. The media immediately posted headlines about his joke in bad taste.
Following the swift criticism he received, Pokora posted more videos of Violet in his story. This time trying to lighten the situation.
The next time the couple was in hot water, involved a picture with their young son Isaiah. But despite the issues, they’re one of the coolest celebrity couples around.
