Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the appointment of Professor Onyemachi Maxwell Ogbulu as the new Vice Chancellor of Abia State University from the 1st December 2020.

The appointment follows the formal presentation of the recommendation governing council led by Senator Adolphus Wabara, PhD, to the Governor sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the incumbent Vice Chancellor, Professor Uche Ikonne, on 30th November 2020.
