Former Deputy Senate President and Enugu State Governorship aspirant, Ike Ekweremmad  backs out from the  Enugu State Governorship race.

The aspirant who contested under the platform of PDP is likely to defect to another Political Party after backing out from the Governorship race.

He announced his withdrawal in a statement he issued after consultations with supporters and the political faithful in Enugu.

He also apologized to his supporteraboutto his decision, and also thanked his supporters and the people of Enugu State home and dispora.
