At least Four people have lost their lives while 52 people were arrested after Trump supporter in a move to stop Congress from certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s election victory, break into the Capitol building, attacking police, breaking windows, and knocking down doors.

When all this was going on, the lawmakers was very frightened and was locked up in the safe side of the building as Trump loyalists continue to break into offices at the Capitol.
National Guard and other security operatives were immediately deployed to the scene and with their help sanity was restored in the Capitol.

Despite the unrest at the Capitol, Congress reconvened the joint session to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s win.
“As we reconvene in this chamber, the world will again witness the resilience and strength of our democracy,” said Vice President Mike Pence.
Democracy – the right of people to exercise a vote, have their voice heard and then have that decision upheld peacefully should never be undone by a mob.
